Zone 2013 – Rules

2013 is the year of F.A.S.T.  The year where everything we do, we do it on the Fast And Simple Track. Yet, everything we do, must raise the bar higher.

Its time to push you off the edge of your comfort zone, into my Zone. This is the 3rd year of the Zone. Not many survived the first two. Those who did, know what to expect. And those who are being invited for the first time, be prepared for a radical paradigm shift in the way you think, do and act. The Zone is an intensive program I have personally designed to help you find your purpose. To be invited, is a privilege. Only the worthy make the cut.

Once you are in The Zone, everything else ceases to exist. Empty your cup and leave everything at the door, before you enter The Zone.

The Zone is as much about purification of the mind as it is about the purification of the body. So, here are some fundamental rules I expect all participants of The Zone to follow:

  • Starting 7th Feb 2013, 30 days before your arrive at The Zone, abstain from red meat and alcohol. Ideally, stay vegetarian. When you arrive at the Zone, your body and mind cannot be a carrier of death and destruction.
  • Practice 30 days of the Sphere of Silence (Mouna). Maintain a journal for the 30 days. Bring copies of the journal to the Zone. (No originals)
  • E-mail me your Sadhana on [email protected] every day starting Feb 7, 2013.
  • Prepare 3 targets for yourself as to what you want to achieve in your life. Write them down and bring them to The Zone.
  • Prepare 3 questions for me. These questions cannot be detail specific. They must be about life lessons, about learning. Think and re-think before you note your questions to ensure that you are not getting into details. No names, no places, no dates, no incidents. Email these questions to me on [email protected].

Remember, the true ambition of this programme is for each of you to adapt, assimilate and aspire to create and develop a zone that in turn becomes a source of strength and guidance for all those that you meet.

I look forward to hearing from you here, in the run up to the Zone.

Welcome to my Zone.

Dato Sri Vijay Eswaran

Rebuild with Love - Closing at Zone 2012

I recently went to see an old partner of mine. For his own reasons he went his way some years ago. And once he went away, he joined some people who tried very hard to harm us as a company and me personally. I was extremely angry for a while. We have a saying in my language – “The King punishes immediately, but the Lord punishes eventually.”

Whatever goes around comes around and I was shocked to hear a few months ago that he had had a stroke and was immobilized. View full article »

The Ten Pitfalls and Pillars of Life

A pitfall is defined as a camouflaged source of trouble or danger – a hidden hazard.

Take, for instance, a hole in the ground. You might not see it as you’re walking and be caught unaware. Thereby, falling into it and ending up at the bottom of the abyss.

On the other end of the spectrum, you have the pillar – a vertical support used to uplift and hold oneself up. Pillars form the essential support for buildings and other structures and, in essence, keep the roof over one’s head. In this sense of the word, uphold the principle that in turn holds up the foundations of your life.

There are ten main pillars one should be aware of. Harnessing them effectively can be the key to your success. Otherwise, these same pillars can turn into pitfalls, leading to one's own demise. View full article »

I Want

That picture on the wall is the single most important thing in our life!

It’s a very powerful thing. When you want something badly enough, there is nothing out there that you cannot achieve. But you have to be very clear on your goals. Everyone wants success. Its not something you can put on a weighing scale in the supermarket and take it home. People say they want to be rich. How exactly do you decide that you are now rich. If you think about it, when you are making USD 5000, your expenses are within your income. Then you get to USD 10,000, you realise that your expenses have shot up. Then you are at USD 50,000 and your expenses catch up again. So, how much is enough?

Your goals need to be very clear.

The clarity of that picture has to be there instead of vague terms of reference. I want to be rich or I want to be successful doesn't really mean anything if you cant explain it. It has to be a very specific picture. Something you can see on the wall in front of you. View full article »
